I love the Tevis endurance race . Horse and rider have to make it from high in the Sierra over a course that leads to Auburn Fair grounds in one day, 100 miles. From 6000 ft to 1000 ft elevation. This is my watercolor wire drawing rendition of that race or just wild horses running on their own in the Sierra.
