A friend discovered these falls on the North Fork of the American River several years ago. He took photos and I got to see what he saw. He was very interested in the geology of this area southeast of Soda Springs and Donner Summit.
Dutch Flat watercolor artist and teacher, Joan Chlarson, has been painting scenes of historical California especially Placer County since 1990.
