Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

After visiting the old Point Loma lighthouse I wanted to do a watercolor semi abstract of the area. This lighthouse was built in 1854 but was only in operation until 1891. This was the era of sailing ships and oil lamps. Fog and low clouds obscured the light so the lighthouse keeper had to move to the bottom of the hill (422 feet lower).
Dutch Flat watercolor artist and teacher, Joan Chlarson, has been painting scenes of historical California especially Placer County since 1990. Her work has won numerous awards and she is a member of California Watercolor Association, National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, and Placer County Arts. some of her works have been licensed for cards and gifts for various organizations.
