Artist's Description
This watercolor was developed from a wire drawing where line is used to make an interesting design. Thick/thin, angular/curved, all lines need to be connected or lead off the sides as if you were building a 3D wire sculpture in a 2D image. Gustav Klimt style doodling make it lively and interesting.
About Joan Chlarson
Dutch Flat watercolor artist and teacher, Joan Chlarson, has been painting scenes of historical California especially Placer County since 1990. Her work has won numerous awards and she is a member of California Watercolor Association, National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, and Placer County Arts. some of her works have been licensed for cards and gifts for various organizations.
